Position Overview: As an AVP in the AWS or Databricks Business Group, you will play a key role in driving joint go-to-market success by supporting the sale and solutioning of cloud deals aligned with partner offerings. You'll collaborate closely with Genpact Sales teams (LCPs, Tech, and Data & AI sellers), the Alliance team, and partner field teams to strengthen account-level engagement, co-lead campaigns, and convert high-potential opportunities. Success in this role will require a strong understanding of the partner tech stack and effective collaboration across Alliance, Sales, and Delivery teams to drive pipeline inflows, bookings, and cloud consumption. This role offers the opportunity to operate at the core of Genpact's strategic partnerships with leading cloud providers.

Requirements

  • experience in technology sales, with a minimum of 5 years focused on cloud solutions (AWS and/or Databricks strongly preferred), Data and AI
  • Proven track record in leading complex, cloud-led digital transformation engagements within large enterprise environments
  • Deep understanding of cloud partner ecosystems, including co-sell motions, commercial models, and solution architecture fundamentals
  • Strong executive presence, with demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, business leaders)
  • Consistent achievement of revenue, pipeline, and margin targets in a quota-driven environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Alliances, Offerings, and Delivery teams to drive integrated go-to-market execution
  • Willingness to travel (25-100%) based on client and business needs; occasional driving may be required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling or solutioning AWS or Databricks native services (certifications and proficiency in both Databricks and AWS would be a plus).
  • Familiarity with cloud consumption metrics, partner sales campaigns, and joint GTM strategies.
  • Prior experience working closely with alliance teams to land joint opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, contracting, and deal structuring for cloud/SaaS offerings.
  • Executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, high-growth mindset.
  • Willingness to travel globally (25-100%) as per business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor by supporting relationship-building efforts with clients, in collaboration with Genpact Sales, Alliance teams, and SMEs/Solution Architects. Leverage AWS and/or Databricks capabilities to co-create digital value propositions aligned to client priorities.
  • Identify and develop cloud-led opportunities, anchored in Genpact's partner-aligned offerings within the AWS or Databricks ecosystem.
  • Build deep familiarity with the partner technology stack, understanding key features and differentiators to drive solution-led conversations and engagements.
  • Serve as the liaison between Genpact and AWS/DatabrickS field teams, enabling seamless account-level collaboration, supporting joint campaigns, and enhancing partner alignment.
  • Collaborate across internal sales teams (LCPs, Tech Sales, Data & AI Sellers) to support solutioning and drive conversions for high-value opportunities.
  • Support market positioning efforts by contributing to offering development and participating in thought leadership and partner marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Alliance and Offering teams to co-develop joint go-to-market plays and support cloud solution innovation.
  • Drive performance against key success metrics including pipeline generation, inflows, bookings, and cloud consumption.
