As the Assistant Ticket Operations Manager, you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that supports students from diverse backgrounds as they pursue careers in data science. Be Bold. What You’ll Do: Assist the Assistant Directors of Ticket Operations with the management and supervision of all box office functions. Oversee day-to-day operations of the ticket office, including processing ticket orders for various events. Provide excellent customer service by dealing with customers in-person, monitoring ticket office phone lines and voicemails, and maintaining email correspondence. Write and send communications both on an individual and mass level. Assist with the management of game day activities at home and on the road. Manage ticket operations and game day logistics for assigned sports. Assist with inventory for gameday functions. Ensure adherence to all Duke and NCAA rules regarding ticket sales and distribution. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. Choose Duke.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with a minimum of 1-year experience at the collegiate or professional level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated sound personal interface, organizational, and coordinating skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, and vendors with a positive attitude.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, and dedication.
  • Flexibility with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work requires analytical, communication and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree program.
