About The Position

Axos is seeking an Assistant Team Manager (ATM) who will be responsible for assisting with leading a team that supports our clients. They help our clients grow by completing daily workloads in an accurate and timely manner. The ATM demonstrates the ability to support the functions within the team's discipline: New Accounts, Income Processing, Transfers-In, Transfers-Out, Statements, Cash Management/Treasury, Financial Control, Settlements and Mutual Fund Trading. The ATM can handle more complex items and duties, handle escalations, coach associates and cover manager responsibilities as needed. Other responsibilities may arise as part of our ever-evolving work environment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• Three years' experience in the financial services industry is required
• Must display a strong grasp of business operations
• Knowledge of mutual funds, investment vehicles, and retirement accounts required
• Experience managing others is required

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists Manager/Senior Manager with meeting facilitation, time off requests', interview and selection process, and performance and development process
• Is a subject matter expert (SME) for team members, other departments and backs up all team members when needed
• Monitors work volume to ensure efficient flow of work, provides workload details and statuses as requested and makes assignments and adjustments to team member coverage as needed
• Lead and perform Quality Control efforts, maintain any necessary error logs and statistical reporting and follows up on all outstanding items
• Lead, mentor, coach and train team members in a collaborative environment
• Reviews, identifies improvements, updates, implements changes to processes / procedures and research technology enhancements for their effect on the team
