This role involves teaching acting and stage combat within the BFA acting and musical theatre programs. The successful candidate will be an accomplished pedagogue and educator, actively involved in curriculum development, student recruitment, and building industry connections to enhance student opportunities. Ball State’s BFA performance options provide an innovative and rigorous training curriculum, utilizing the production program as a laboratory, emphasizing an "actor first" mentality in storytelling, and integrating body, voice, and mind. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to inclusive pedagogies in their teaching, scholarship, and artistry. Candidates with the ability to teach all levels of movement, experience with acting for the camera, and expertise in synthesizing singing and acting will receive additional consideration.
