Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a park driver's license
  • Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment under general supervision
  • Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
  • Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time
  • Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications

Responsibilities

  • Perform diverse horticultural, grounds keeping and greenhouse tasks, such as watering, weeding, planting, transplanting, pruning, mulching, and mowing
  • Provide supervision and training of ambassadors in carrying out grounds keeping operations and provide performance feedback, counseling, and developmental discussions
  • Operate and all maintain equipment: mowers, augers, trimmers, shears, tillers, utility carts, water tanks, tractors, forklift, etc.
  • Perform tasks related to cold-weather protection as well as preparation for storms and perform repair work for any weather damage or other damage
  • Prep, maintain and staff seasonal firepits
  • Maintain a safe, clean, professional workplace
  • Provide exemplary service to guests and team members.
  • Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks, lunches and hours worked per day
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
