The Assistant Store Manager role involves assisting the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit projections, ensuring total customer satisfaction, developing team members' skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participating in team member recruitment and selection. This role also includes enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. The company provides intense and continuous training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and career development, asking for a commitment to excellence, a desire to grow, and the ability to provide a superior customer experience.

Requirements

  • At least one year of retail experience is required
  • Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
  • Availability to work days, nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Retail experience preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members' standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction
  • Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation
  • Recruit and select team members
  • Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures
  • Perform other operational and strategic duties
