About The Position
Join Morgan Properties, where your maintenance expertise and leadership skills help create exceptional living experiences for our residents! We’re seeking an Assistant Service Manager with a “whatever it takes” attitude to help keep our community running smoothly.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and live within 30 minutes of the property.
- Competency with: P-Tech HVAC systems, Individual Hot Water Tanks, Copper Pipes/PEX.
- 2–4 years of related maintenance or technical experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of systems such as Yardi or Mobile Maintenance (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop your maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing issues.
- Provide expert troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.
- Help establish and manage preventive maintenance, make-ready, and on-call schedules.
- Keep maintenance inventory organized and cost-effective.
- Regularly inspect community buildings and grounds to ensure everything is in top condition.
- Jump in to complete work orders and repairs as needed.
