This role supports critical data initiatives and daily sales operations for the GTM (Go-To-Market) organization in Japan. We are looking for a candidate who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency to drive actionable business insights. As a Sales Operations Assistant, your primary focus will be two-fold: ensuring the integrity of our customer data and providing essential operational support to the sales team. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between our current database and real-world accuracy, while streamlining administrative processes. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for detail, and wants to gain hands-on experience in a global SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • Intermediate Excel Skills: Proficiency with formulas, data manipulation, and basic data analysis.
  • Professional Experience: Previous experience in office work, such as Sales Operations, Sales Administration or Sales Support.
  • Language: Native-level Japanese and Working Knowledge level of English - ability to leverage translation tools for English reading and writing.
  • Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to data accuracy and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high precision.

Responsibilities

  • Data Cleanup & Enrichment: Work to understand the current data landscape in Salesforce with a specific focus on firmographic account data.
  • Audit and update account information in Salesforce.
  • Compare existing records with external databases and online research to ensure accurate firmographic data (company names, industries, locations, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Sales Ops team to identify data gaps and perform cleanup initiatives to maintain a robust account hierarchy.
  • Sales Operations Support: Assist the day-to-day operational tasks, including:
  • Account assignments and territory mapping
  • Data entry and record maintenance
  • Updating sales data and internal documentation
  • Basic report creation and dashboard maintenance
