It is a Level II trauma center and has been recognized for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart & vascular, and cancer care. About this unit 5 South is a cardiac stepdown or a telemetry unit. We have 32 beds with 28 semi-private rooms and 4 private rooms. Each patient has a telemetry monitor that they are required to wear at all times while on the unit. Your Role As part of our leadership team, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to foster an environment where patients receive exceptional care and staff feel empowered. You’ll help shape a culture of excellence, growth, and innovation. Scope of work Under the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the assistant nurse manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.
Requirements
- Effective June 1, 2025, a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is Required.
- Two+ years of clinical experience Required.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required.
