About The Position

Assistant Residential Director – Stetson School An Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation Hourly Pay: $29.40 to $32.77 (Based on experience) Sign On Bonus: $4,000.00 to be paid out at 6 and 12 months The Assistant Residential Director provides leadership and oversight to residential treatment teams, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth. This role supports staff supervision, program quality, regulatory compliance, and effective crisis management while promoting trauma informed care aligned with the ACORN approach and Family Engagement model. Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm, with flexibility to include nights and weekends as needed. Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in human services management, Clinical, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4–10 years in residential management and/or sex offender treatment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of team-oriented management, treatment planning, employment laws, youth advocacy, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Skills: Ability to lead with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to high-quality care.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks, including CORI, DCF Abuse and Neglect, Sex Offender Registry, and federal fingerprinting
  • Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or human services settings.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision & Leadership : Directly supervise management staff and ensure effective oversight of direct care staff.
  • Program Quality & Compliance : Maintain regulatory standards, operationalize policies, and ensure best practices in care.
  • Therapeutic Milieu Oversight : Promote a safe and structured environment that aligns with the ACORN approach and Family Engagement model .
  • Staff & Student Support : Ensure staff uphold professional boundaries, positive interactions, and dignity in all student and family engagements.
  • Crisis Management & Risk Mitigation : Monitor staff interventions, reinforce pro-social behaviors, and respond to concerns effectively.
