The Opportunity Supports and represents Vituity Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program at assigned site. Keeps current with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements and assists in implementing policies/procedures within the Vituity GME Program to ensure compliance. Assists in ensuring Vituity GME Program compliance with accrediting bodies. Assists with implementing educational curriculum, rotation schedule, planning and assessment tools (short and long-term goals), and marketing plans for the Vituity GME Program. Assists with scheduling and supporting Vituity GME Program events including lectures, recruitment interviews, orientation, retreats, as well as various meetings and other program-related events. Collects data, evaluations, and related project materials to support and assist in preparation of Vituity GME Program reports, presentations, and communications. Assists in the preparation for ACGME Self Study, Site Visits and internal/special reviews. Communicates with residents/students/trainees of any licensing, certifications or re-appointments that are due to be renewed. Communicates licensing and certificate updates to hospital HR office and Vituity Credentialing Department for moonlighting residents in a timely manner. Attends conferences as requested by the Program Director Assists in ensuring approval of all Continuing Medical Education (CME) lectures. Serves as a main resource for questions from academic and administrative offices, residents, applicants and/or medical students. Provides courteous and friendly customer service. Purchases office equipment and supplies as needed. Evaluates and standardizes office procedures and effectively troubleshoots and resolves issues.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with Graduate Medical Education Programs required.

  • Previous administrative and/or academic background preferred.
