The Office of University Registrar at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Assistant Registrar for Faculty Services and Course Scheduling position. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This is an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility. Reporting to the Associate Registrar for Faculty Services and Course Scheduling, the Assistant Registrar provides leadership for the planning, governance, and execution of the University’s course scheduling, classroom assignment, and exam scheduling functions. This position serves as a key partner to colleges, departments, and central campus stakeholders to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely publication of the academic schedule in the student information system (SIS) and related scheduling platforms. The Assistant Registrar leads process improvement initiatives, establishes and maintains operational standards and documentation, and supports institutional compliance with academic policy and records requirements as they relate to the schedule of classes. In addition, the position supports faculty services initiatives through data stewardship, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
