Villas on McQueen is a 157-unit affordable housing community preparing to launch its lease-up in mid-May—and we’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager who’s ready to jump in, make an impact, and help shape the resident experience from day one. Requirements
- Ability to work a full-time schedule Tuesday-Saturday to support leasing traffic and resident needs
- Property management or leasing experience, preferably in affordable housing (LIHTC, PBV, RAD, HOME, HTF, ARPA)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lease-up environment
- Comfort handling financial transactions and administrative responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems (RealPage OneSite)

- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Support leasing efforts including tours, applications, and lease execution
- Build relationships with prospective and current residents to drive occupancy and retention
- Assist with affordable housing compliance processes including certifications and documentation
- Coordinate resident communications, service requests, and follow-up
- Manage rent collection, postings, and administrative records
- Support outreach marketing, community engagement, and competitor analysis
- Assist the Property Manager with daily operations during lease-up and beyond
