About The Position

Mayvin is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support U.S. Navy acquisition and program management, specifically for Navy/NAVSEA/NAVAIR programs. The role involves providing program management, financial, engineering, and acquisition support. Candidates must have a strong Navy background with experience in executing technical Navy/NAVSEA/NAVAIR/NAVFAC/NAVSUP/ONR Programs, be a U.S. Citizen, and possess an active Secret or higher clearance. This position is full-time and requires onsite presence 5 days a week in Alexandria, VA. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or Minimum 5+ years of engineering or program management experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Department of the Navy experience acquisition and Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD Program Management Office (PMO), Program Executive Office (PEO), or equivalent
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products / services, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PMP and/or DAWIA Level III PM certification or 12 years of PM experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated work experience supporting acquisition programs to the DoD
  • Prior Military service

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management support

  • Lead day-to-day coordination between NAVSEA stakeholders and technical teams
