About The Position

The Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah seeks applications for tenure-track/tenured faculty at the assistant professor rank to fill one or more available positions. The Kahlert School of Computing is a highly collaborative and collegial community of researchers that values and supports faculty engaged in cross-area and interdisciplinary research. This year, we are prioritizing the following computing areas to support new research and curriculum in artificial intelligence and its applications, human-centered AI, robotics, AI education, neurotechnology, brain-computer interface, and AI-facilitated software engineering. Outstanding applicants in other areas of computing are also invited to apply. The University of Utah is a Carnegie Research I Institution, and the Kahlert School of Computing is an exciting, growing school with a 60-year history of excellence in computing education, innovation, and broad areas of research. As the computing landscape evolves, the Kahlert School supports continuous curriculum enhancement among its faculty. Requirements

  • A PhD in computer science or a related field is required.
