The Department of Political Science invites applications for a position in Political Science and Public Administration. Candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in American government, advanced undergraduate courses in policy and/or public administration, and graduate seminars in public policy and/or public administration. Demonstrated ability to maintain and active research agenda resulting in peer-reviewed publications is essential. A successful candidate will implement effective teaching strategies and communicate with, motivate, and evaluate students, maintain an active research agenda leading to publication, participate with other faculty in professional and scholarly exchanges within the department and throughout the university, and participate in educationally related aspects of community and civic affairs.
