The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Music invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Applied Oboe at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2026. Primary responsibilities include teaching and maintaining an undergraduate and graduate studio in applied oboe, teaching studio and reed-making classes, coaching woodwind ensembles, performing chamber music in faculty ensembles, recruitment, and serving as a visible resource to Las Vegas's music and music education communities. Candidates with ancillary expertise in musicology, music theory, or other disciplines are especially encouraged to apply. Additional expectations will include research and/or creative activity and service on Departmental, College, and University committees.
