Position Information This position is security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. Position begins Fall 2026.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics and hold a Doctorate in mathematics education.
  • Candidates need a strong mathematics background and have evidence of a research agenda in mathematics education.
  • A strong foundation for excelling in both face-to-face and online teaching strategies is required.

Nice To Haves

  • K-12 teaching experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching duties will include primarily face-to-face undergraduate content courses for elementary, middle grades, and secondary mathematics teacher programs, as well as online graduate courses in support of the MA in Mathematics.
