Assistant Professor of Instruction in Finance
About The Position
Required Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Finance or a closely related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in finance. At least two years of experience teaching finance courses at the university level. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in industry or demonstrated leadership experience in other sectors (e.g., nonprofit organizations, military service, or public service). Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA , FRM , CAIA ) Substantial industry or leadership experience, particularly with organizations based in Texas. Demonstrated record of effective teaching across instructional modalities, including in-person and online formats. Experience in, or clear potential for, high-quality graduate-level instruction.
