The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Evansville invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Cybersecurity to start in August 2026. Applicants should be committed to outstanding undergraduate teaching and have excellent oral and written English skills. Appropriate scholarly/professional development activities and university service are expected. The applicant will be responsible for teaching a wide range of courses, from introductory to senior-level classes, including topics such as Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Cyber Forensics, Ethics and Hacking, Cryptography, System Administration, IT Security, and Senior Capstone. The applicant may also contribute to computer science courses, supervise senior capstone projects, and advise and mentor students. The applicant will likely take on the role of Program Director for the Cybersecurity program, which is a new program launching in Fall 2025 and will be in its second year in Fall 2026. Responsibilities will include working with faculty to develop the curriculum, engaging in the process of program accreditation, collaborating with the Computer Science program, and connecting with regional partners such as the Indiana Cyber Network to build strong community and industry ties.
