The David B. O'Maley College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Campus, invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting. Applicants must hold a graduate degree in Accounting from an accredited institution and possess an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. The College seeks a candidate with a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, student engagement, and continuous improvement in business education. Professional experience in accounting is highly valued, and prior university teaching experience is preferred. Candidates with knowledge of or experience in the aviation and aerospace industry are encouraged to apply. Non-tenure-track faculty in the Department of Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Information Sciences typically carry a four-four teaching load. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate accounting courses, maintain academic and professional qualifications consistent with AACSB standards, participate in assurance-of-learning and curriculum assessment activities, advise and mentor students, and contribute to service at the department, college, and university levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness, the ability to engage students in both applied and conceptual accounting topics, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment. The College values innovative pedagogy, curricular relevance, and engagement with the accounting profession in ways that support student achievement and career readiness.
