The Salve Regina University Counseling Education and Expressive Arts Department seeks applications for a new full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Counselor Education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong counseling identity and a commitment to teaching professional counseling classes both online and in-person. Salve Regina's 60-credit Counseling Program offers two accredited counseling tracks: An in-person Clinical Mental Health Counseling track with a focus on holistic and systemic perspectives. An online Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling track, with a focus on disability justice. Our department's collaborative and collegial faculty share a commitment to holistic counselor education, evidence-based practice, and systemic perspectives that integrate justice, equity, and multiculturalism. Our curriculum also foregrounds the Mercy Sisters' Critical Concerns: anti-racism, the earth, non-violence, women's issues, and immigration. We seek a tenure-track colleague who shares these commitments and values thus contributing to a supportive academic community.
