About The Position
Market of Choice in South Eugene is now hiring for an Assistant Produce Manager. This position starts at $21.00/hour up to $25.00/hour, depending on experience. As an Assistant Produce Manager, you will work closely with the Produce Manager and some of your duties will include:
Requirements
- Applicants should be available any shift including weekends.
- The ideal candidate will have good leadership skills, department specific experience and product/ordering knowledge.
- You must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining positive customer and employee relations
- Organization of daily Produce Department duties
- Training and supervision of Produce employees
- Logging/processing invoices and taking inventory
- Expense control
- General housekeeping duties to keep the work area orderly
- Enforcement of company policies, including safe working practices
