About The Position

We are seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for: Managing department inventory In stock position Pricing integrity Merchandising Labor Other operational processes to company standards. They will plan, order, and process produce products to maximize sales and gross profit. Produce Managers will ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, stage and rotation of merchandise and building of displays. Requirements

• Management experience: 5+ years of produce experience in a high-volume operation
• Good working knowledge of food quality
• Strong Customer Service skills and ability to interact with other team members
• Organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize request and department activities
• Meet physical demands required for the position
• Effective communication skills and ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays and other prime times of the business
• Working knowledge of applicable computer programs used in the day-to-day operations of the department
