Position Summary: The Assistant Principal reports directly to the building principal and works in close collaboration with the Director of Student Services. This position supports the principal in the leadership, coordination, and management of the school’s instructional program and daily operations, with particular emphasis on inclusive practices, student support systems, and equitable access to learning. Responsibilities: The Assistant Principal assists in planning, organizing, administering, and coordinating the total school program. The role includes responsibilities related to instructional leadership, supervision and evaluation of staff, student discipline, and oversight of Section 504 and special education processes. The Assistant Principal ensures effective day-to-day implementation of programs aligned with the school’s mission and supports the delivery of academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
