About The Position

As an Assistant Press Operator, you will: Assist Press Operator with press make-ready Operate and maintain web offset printing press Install plates and blankets Make necessary color or register adjustments Assist in replacing press rollers, using hand tools Work in a team environment and cross-train with others Receive training to help advance your career General knowledge of web offset press preferred. We will provide the job specific training you would need!

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow job specifications
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Ability to read a micrometer
• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift

Nice To Haves

• General knowledge of web offset press preferred.
