About The Position

The Rinker College of Business seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Management. Responsible for a wide range of courses in management, including general education courses through upper-level and graduate level management courses. Position requires a strong commitment to teaching, Christian faith, scholarship, and to service. Position also includes normal responsibilities of faculty, including but not limited to office hours, advising, and attendance at the Rinker College of Business staff meetings. The Rinker College of Business is AACSB accredited. It offers eleven undergraduate majors, and five graduate degree programs. The College of Business has approximately 700 undergraduate students, 100 graduate students, and 30 full-time business faculty. Our faculty pride themselves on their practice-oriented innovative teaching styles, with the inclusion of Christian principles to keep their classrooms interesting, ethics-grounded, and engaging. POSITION DETAILS: The position is a full-time position, with a teaching load of 3-4 courses per semester and a starting date of July/August 2026. STATUS: Review of applications will begin immediately, but all applications will continue to be reviewed until the position is filled.

Requirements

  • Preferred: PhD in Management or D.B.A in a closely business-related field. Minimum: ABDs from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • Earned 18 graduate credit hours in management or a closely related business field.
  • Interest and ability to teach management science courses such as Project Management, and Supply Chain along with other typical management courses as needed.
  • The ability and interest in teaching evening, day, online, and on-campus modalities within our undergraduate and Master of Business Administration program.
  • A commitment and ability to teaching excellence and service to the College, the University, and the community.
  • Evidence of peer-reviewed publications, or planned scholarly agenda, consistent with expectations of an AACSB-accredited program and integrated into teaching.
  • A Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith into traditional coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching a wide range of courses in management, including general education courses through upper-level and graduate level management courses.
  • Maintaining office hours.
  • Advising students.
  • Attending Rinker College of Business staff meetings.
