About The Position

The Zicklin School of Business, the largest AACSB-accredited business school in the United States, offers an array of full-time, part-time, executive, and honors programs leading to BBA, MBA, MS, and PhD degrees. The Narendra Loomba Department of Management includes a faculty group of approximately 100 full-time and part-time faculty involved in teaching and research related to an array of subject matter areas. These areas include a) Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management; b) Business, Society, and Sustainability; c) Operations Management; d) Strategic Management and e) Business Consulting. The Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management at the Zicklin School of Business invites applications for two positions: one assistant professor (tenure-track) and one associate professor (tenure-track or tenured, depending on qualifications) rank starting August 2026.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a PhD (or ABD) in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Candidates must have a proven record of teaching Human Resource Management or Organizational Behavior courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • applicants are required to submit a narrative statement describing their commitment to and experience with working effectively with faculty and staff, and teaching students in, a pluralistic urban campus environment with a substantial population of students who are among the first- generation of their family to attend a college or university.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in teaching courses on negotiations and/or leadership is desired.

Responsibilities
