About The Position
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to produce, manage, and adjust all daily service routes for our growing DoodyCalls franchise in Morris County. This role is execution-focused, not corporate or strategic. If you are highly organized, calm under pressure, and good at managing schedules and people — this job is for you.
Requirements
- Strong organization and time management
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and routing software
- Ability to make quick, practical decisions
- Prior operations, dispatch, or field-service experience preferred
- No degree required — experience matters more.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage daily technician routes
- Adjust routes for call-outs, weather, and service changes
- Monitor route completion and technician coverage
- Communicate daily with technicians regarding schedules and issues
- Respond to customer service requests and resolve issues quickly
- Coordinate service notes (dogs, access, gates, timing requests)
- Track daily performance metrics (stops, hours, mileage)
- Assist with on-boarding and basic training of new technicians
- Perform occasional field checks or ride-along when needed
