About The Position

Assistant Operations Manager - Route Production DoodyCalls/Morris County, NJ Pay: $25-$28/hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (some flexibility required) Location: Morris County, NJ (office based with limited field work) We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to produce, manage, and adjust all daily service routes for our growing DoodyCalls franchise in Morris County. This role is execution-focused, not corporate or strategic. If you are highly organized, calm under pressure, and good at managing schedules and people — this job is for you.

Requirements

• Strong organization and time management
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and routing software
• Ability to make quick, practical decisions
• Prior operations, dispatch, or field-service experience preferred
• No degree required — experience matters more
• Dispatcher, scheduler, or route coordinator
• Assistant manager or field supervisor
• Former technician ready to move into operations
• Someone who likes structure, checklists, and execution

Responsibilities

• Build and manage daily technician routes
• Adjust routes for call-outs, weather, and service changes
• Monitor route completion and technician coverage
• Communicate daily with technicians regarding schedules and issues
• Respond to customer service requests and resolve issues quickly
• Coordinate service notes (dogs, access, gates, timing requests)
• Track daily performance metrics (stops, hours, mileage)
• Assist with on-boarding and basic training of new technicians
• Perform occasional field checks or ride-along when needed
