Assistant Nurse Manager
About The Position
Could you be our next Med/Surg Assistant Nurse Manager at Riddle Hospital? Why work as a Assistant Nurse Manager? Make an Impact! Use your dynamic leadership abilities to help build and lead our interdisciplinary teams across three Med/Surg units at Riddle Hospital: 2 East (14-bed unit), 3 East (15-bed unit), and 4 East (21-bed unit). You will work closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure safe, high-quality patient care while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. In this role, you will provide ongoing feedback to staff, promote and participate in departmental initiatives, and coordinate staffing needs and schedules. You will also partner with the Nurse Manager and other leaders to interview and select top talent to join the team. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will support teams caring for a diverse Med/Surg patient population. Requirements
- Three to Five years of recent Med/Surg and/or Telemetry Nurse experience preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN or other related Bachelor's Degree required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Association / American Red Cross) required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior charge nurse experience or other leadership experience preferred.
- MSN or other related Master's Degree preferred.
- Certification in specialty area is desired.
