About The Position

Responsible for the management of the facilities engineering functions including the improvement, maintenance, and repair of onsite facility equipment and buildings maintenance in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed departmental, company goals and objectives. Responsible for leading Group Leaders, & Maintenance Team Members to support the facility operating systems and buildings.Essential Functions: Manage people, projects, and resources within the Facilities Engineering Department team to ensure productivity, quality, & safety. Oversee and support the installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of machines and equipment related to the buildings across HMMA Oversee preventative maintenance plans and schedules to avoid downtime and ensure countermeasures are implemented when required. Supervise contractor work for compliance with HMMA’s policies and procedures. Lead and support Team Members in continuous improvement activities. Lead/manage problem solving and countermeasure activities. Oversee adherence to time/attendance and all other company policies in area of responsibility. Develop, monitor, and control annual budget usage and cost objectives utilizing effective control mechanisms and appropriate budget procedures. Develop, train, and retain a high-quality workforce through effective performance management and communication. Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety ManagementSystem (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling,and moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations. Relevant training will be provided if assigned these job duties. Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree orequivalent preferred
  • 5 – 10 years of job relatedexperience preferred
