Ready to become a Viking? We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our open 2nd shift Assistant Machine Operator position in New Paltz, NY. Ready to become a Viking? Schedule Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am $17 to $19 an hour depending on experience. Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will either have prior printing machine experience or the ability and passion to learn on the job. We take pride in giving our employees the opportunity to grow and develop, so we encourage all candidates to apply!
  • High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience
  • Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills
  • Ability to measure to the 16th of an inch
  • Willingness to work on multiple pieces of equipment
  • Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with inks and PMS/GCMU colors preferred
  • Experience operating a high-speed printing machine preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the setting up and running high speed manufacturing equipment
  • Load raw materials into machines, Palletize finished product for delivery
  • Follow Operators direction in adjusting machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure and amount of material for quality production
  • Cleaning high speed manufacturing equipment
  • Make sure the work environment remains uncluttered, clean and well-maintained to ensure safety
