About The Position

The Assistant Head Housekeeper provides team leadership, assigns rooms for cleaning daily, and conducts room inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness throughout the hotel. This role involves assisting with regular deep cleaning projects and training new and current staff. Key responsibilities also include maintaining control of all housekeeping keys, ensuring all safety standards are met, assisting with accurate lost and found logs and storage, and ensuring the proper use of chemicals and supplies as per OSHA standards. The position requires wearing a provided uniform and has physical demands including lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally, inspecting all guest rooms and public areas, and being able to assist in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Must be able to help out in an emergency situation.

Responsibilities

• Provides team leadership by leading by example and helping out when needed.
• Breaks out the house daily and assigns rooms to be cleaned.
• Does room inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness.
• Assists in regular deep cleaning projects.
