About The Position

This is an opportunity to work in a small, close-knit community focused on helping young people love learning and build strong foundations early. An Assistant Guide supports the Lead Guide in a studio serving early learners (Pre-K through 1st grade). This is a hands-on, classroom-based role focused on supporting students, maintaining a strong and prepared environment, and learning the foundations of guiding. This role is ideal for individuals exploring a path in education or looking for meaningful part-time or full-time work in a classroom setting.

Requirements

  • No formal teaching experience required
  • Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with young children in a structured environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Support daily classroom activities, including work cycles, group time, and transitions
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students as they build foundational skills
  • Help maintain a calm, organized, and prepared learning environment
  • Reinforce studio systems, routines, and expectations with consistency
  • Assist with classroom setup, materials, and daily operations
  • Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a strong classroom culture
