Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees
  • Strong computer skills preferred with understanding of Microsoft Office-- Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Certified Journeyman Molding Process Technician
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and to push / pull loads in excess of 100 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders / steps
  • Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8 hour shift
  • Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance and a minimum near vision ability to read 10 – 12 point font at 12 – 18 inches

Responsibilities

  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain a safe & clean work environment.
  • Resolves personnel challenges by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions & recommending actions.
  • Complete trending charts for specific parameters on special projects.
  • Make color approvals when responsible for the supervision of the Molding Department on weekends and Quality Assurance is not available.
  • Assume the role of Group Leader in his / her absence.
  • Assist Group Leader in the daily functions of managing his or her shift
  • Exhibits highest level of commitment to safety & quality
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for ensuring all ISO and SQF standards are met.
  • Maintain Kronos for all employees, schedule overtime, & track employee attendance.
