About The Position

As the Assistant General Manager of The Mansion Dining Room at MGM Grand, you’ll help lead one of the resort’s most exclusive and refined dining experiences. Partnering closely with the General Manager, you’ll inspire and guide the service team to achieve operational and financial goals while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality. You’ll oversee performance, scheduling, and training, execute key initiatives from property F&B leadership, and ensure the venue is impeccably maintained to MGM Resorts’ exacting standards—fostering a culture of excellence that delivers truly unforgettable experiences for The Mansion’s distinguished guests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Previous management experience working in a high-volume restaurant OR Previous management experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant preferred
  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
  • Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including budgets, labor, scheduling, inventory, guest service, and marketing strategies to drive profitability.
  • Support the General Manager in executing the restaurant’s business plan and achieving goals
  • Assist the General Manager with HR responsibilities, fostering a positive work environment, providing coaching and feedback, recognizing performance, and supporting hiring, training, and succession planning while ensuring compliance with policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, address complaints, and manage feedback channels.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team for seamless service between kitchen and dining
  • Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the restaurant staff.
  • Owns restaurant’s execution of F&B and/or company-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness with in all areas of Beverage.
  • Responsible for completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the venue’s food & beverage offerings, menu items, and equipment
