JOB SUMMARY Primarily responsible for managing and maintaining Pero Transport, LLC’s PA fleet in good operating condition so the company can meet its distribution objectives efficiently and cost- effectively. The Assistant Fleet Manager will be responsible for all records, maintenance, and equipment cost control. This position will be in constant communication with the Fleet Manager based out of company headquarters to advise him/her of equipment and personnel availability, and all fleet needs and repairs. The Assistant Fleet Manager will also work in collaboration with the Compliance Manager insuring the safe and effective management of Pero Transport’s fleet of trucks, and will manage personnel in the shop located in PA.
