POSITION OVERVIEW: The Events Assistant will play a vital supportive role in the planning and execution of bespoke client-related events and activations at The Landmark. Working closely with the Events Specialist and Manager, this individual will be a key contributor to crafting unique and memorable experiences.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a support role within luxury retail, hospitality, or events
  • Ability to work on site at The Landmark 5 days a week, up to and including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for client events and activations.
  • Assist with non-client and ad hoc events, including internal corporate events (Tiffany & LVMH), brand activations, and press events.
  • Support the execution of on-site events and activations, contributing to day-of coordination.
  • Assist with event planning timelines and help anticipate on-site event needs.
  • Support in gathering data for post-event reporting and ROI analysis.
  • Assist in sourcing and managing relationships with luxury vendors.
  • Support the management of invoices and vendor payments.
  • Help track event spending and budgets.
  • Provide support to Client Relations during High Jewelry events.
  • Collaborate with store partners to ensure smooth event operations, including on-site support when needed.
  • Assist with managing logistics before, during and after events (e.g., invitations, gifts, guest lists, RSVPs, travel, billing, and invoices).
  • Support the process and staffing for event check-in.
