The Mishkon IDD Programs at The Jewish Board provide supports and services in a healthy and safe environment for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities living in residential programs and in community settings. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Assistant Director of Residential Services is responsible for providing managerial and operational oversight of assigned Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA) home(s) or Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) unit(s) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This leadership role ensures that individuals receive high-quality, person-centered care aligned with their unique needs, preference, and goals. Operating withing the regulatory frameworks of OPWDD, DOH, CARF, and The Jewish Board’s standards. The Assistant Director oversees all aspects of the assigned residences/units. This includes supervising Residence Managers, maintaining regulatory compliance, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence, and providing direct coverage in the absence of Residence Managers. The Assistant Director plays a key role in interdisciplinary coordination, staff development, and overseeing the delivery of services. As a mentor and resource to residential teams, the Assistant Director ensures that programming, documentation, and service delivery consistently meet both regulatory and organizational expectations.
