The Assistant Director of Nursing is an LPN who is responsible for the staffing/scheduling and the overall supervision of nursing care in Assisted Living & Memory Care.

Requirements

Supervising experience: 1 year (Required)
LPN (Required)

Responsibilities

Supervises direct nursing care.
Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated or staffing issues arises.
Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.
Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records.
Coordinates, conducts, and documents the resident assessments, care plans and conference in the absence of the DON.
Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Assists with orientation of nursing personnel.
Participates in family/resident counseling.
Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
