Requirements
- An active Michigan Nursing License (RN).
- A passion for geriatric or long-term care nursing.
- The ability to lead with empathy, communication, and collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
- Empower the Team: Interview, hire, and mentor nursing staff to help them reach their full potential.
- Clinical Oversight: Assist the DON in managing daily nursing operations and supervising care delivery.
- Infection Prevention: Act as the community’s subject matter expert on safety and infection control.
- Leadership in Action: Step into the Acting DON role when needed, using your independent judgment to drive success.
