Description of responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing/ Resident Services Director: Ensure that the community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care Partners with executive director to analyze and maintain resident and team member health and safety Partners with pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents Responsible for clinical expertise of licensed nurses Assists with team member education Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents Ensures resident service plans are updated as indicated by state regulations Communicates with resident’s family and/or responsible party regarding changes in care or health concerns Participates in community awareness activities and community relations Responsible for ordering clinical supplies Schedules clinical team members Participates in a rotating on-call schedule Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current state license as a licensed professional nurse or registered nurse
• Two (2) years’ experience as a licensed nurse
• One (1) year nurse management experience
• Experience in senior living, home health, or long-term care
• Demonstrated competence in assessment skills, injections, medication administration, follow-up and triage
• Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Balance team and individual responsibilities
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to delegate assignments
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Responsibilities
