About The Position

At Absolut Care of Aurora Park, we believe great care begins with great

Director of Nursing (ADON) to help support our nursing team and ensure
outstanding care for our residents.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Leadership experience such as Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager, or ADON
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• Commitment to resident-centered care and staff development

Responsibilities

• Support the daily clinical operations of the nursing department
• Assist with staff supervision, coaching, and mentorship for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Help ensure high standards of resident care and clinical quality
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory readiness
• Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and workflow oversight
• Support survey preparedness and compliance with NYS DOH regulations
• Partner with leadership to build a positive and supportive workplace culture
