About The Position

K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position. An example of job duties includes but are not limited to: Digital & Email Marketing: Execute email and push notification campaigns for volleyball, women's basketball, and baseball, including segmentation, content creation, and performance tracking. Paid & Traditional Advertising: Support paid digital ads and traditional marketing (TV, radio, print) by coordinating with internal teams and external partners on assets, targeting, placement, and campaign launches. Organic Social Media: Develop and manage organic social content for assigned sports to support revenue and engagement goals in collaboration with creative/social teams. Creative Asset Design: Create select digital assets when needed using Adobe Photoshop for emails, social media, ads, and traditional marketing materials while maintaining brand consistency. Collaboration & Reporting: Work with ticketing, sales, communications, and game presentation teams; assist with campaign reporting and recommendations. Other Duties as Assigned: Provide support for additional department-wide projects and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing, athletics, or a related field (can include internships or graduate assistantships).
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in intercollegiate athletics digital marketing.
  • Experience with Oracle Eloqua.
  • Experience in Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics.
