Inspired by nature and fashioned for adventure, Conrad Orlando sits on the 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort bordering Walt Disney World with a 20-acre tropical beach and 8-acre lagoon setting the stage for luxury which is as harmonious as it is captivating. The stunning resort features 433 rooms (including 51 impeccably designed suites and 10 spacious family suites), 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space a tranquil spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and 6 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants (rooftop, southern Italian, and poolside), a cocktail bar, the marketplace and in-room dining. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing the operations of six food and beverage outlets and directly overseeing 12 Food & Beverage leaders and 70 Front of House team members. The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion and the ability to drive the business forward through innovation, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations (ex. financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations). At least five (5) years of prior fine dining food and beverage management experience is required. Familiarity with Forbes Standards and strong beverage knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wide
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
