• Maintain performance standards and pursue goals, objectives, and activities that promote the mission, vision and value statement of the College. • Management of all aspects of state financial aid programs, including but not limited to TOPS, MJ Foster Promise, GO Grant, CHAFEE, YCP, and other applicable state aid programs, overseeing the full lifecycle of state aid awards to include eligibility review, packaging, billing, grade submission, monitoring, maintenance, and adjustments. • Run and manage federal and state aid disbursements and authorizations in accordance with program regulations and institutional timelines. • Assist with account clean-up, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies. • Maintain thorough knowledge of state and federal financial aid regulations related to assigned programs. • Supervise staff including Enrollment Specialists and student employees. • Ensure institutional compliance through consistent monitoring, documentation, and procedural updates. • Conduct internal audits and reviews of aid processes to identify risks, errors, and opportunities for improvement. • Serve as an escalation point for complex aid issues involving eligibility, disbursement, enrollment changes, and compliance concerns. • Conduct regular Return to Title IV calculations and ensure funds are returned timely and accurately. • Co-manage the institutional SAP policy and procedures • Research and resolve student, system, and reporting discrepancies related to aid programs. • Provide guidance and technical support to financial aid staff regarding policies and procedures. • Assist with developing, documenting, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training materials related to state aid. • Support office leadership with workflow optimization, system enhancements, and process improvements. • Serve as secondary SCO, ensuring all VA data is uploaded and maintained throughout the semester. • Foster, demonstrate, and actively participate in a culture of mutual respect for students, guests, and co-workers from all backgrounds, perspectives and abilities. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors and utilize appropriate channels of communication within the college community concerning procedures and/or inquiries. • Attend and participate in scheduled activities, which include graduation, open house/recruiting events as assigned, convocation, and required meetings. Share ideas and information and work toward common department and College goals. • Serve on college committees as a member or as chair. Serve on search committees. • Participate in professional development activities that enhance effectiveness (convocation, LCTC conference, etc.). • Represent the college in a manner that promotes a professional and positive image. • Adhere to College and LCTC policies. • Embrace college culture. • Complete all required assignments prior to deadlines (Fletcher/LCTC trainings, etc.). • Perform other duties as assigned.
