Basic Responsibilities Assist the Associate Dean of Educational Technology in pedagogical practices. Assist the Associate Dean of Educational Technology in advancing and supporting existing university initiatives. Collaborate with the CAT team in creating informational content and lead instructional activities. Support and contribute to the strategic direction of Educational Technology. Essential Duties Assist the Associate Dean of Educational Technology in pedagogical practices. Provide support for learning technologies such as Adobe Creative Cloud, LinkedIn Learning, Canvas LMS, and other classroom and office-based software. Provide consultation and training for faculty and students in identifying and implementing creative and academic technologies at ACU. Focus on collaborative, creative, and student-driven pedagogies. Assist the Associate Dean of Educational Technology in advancing and supporting existing university initiatives. Enhance learning technologies opportunites through collaboration with other library divisions, academic departments, and IT. Participate on committees as assigned. Collaborate with the CAT team in creating informational content and lead instructional activities. Provide online training resources for ACU faculty, students, and staff in using technology for teaching and learning. Provides systemic enhancement of pedagogical practice. Supports innovative development of technological infrastructure. Support and contribute to the strategic direction of Educational Technology. Other duties may be assigned. Master’s Degree in learning technologies, computer science, digital design, or related fields: Doctoral degree preferred 2. Minimum of 5 years experience in educational technology or related fields 3. Experience in or knowledge of the operations of a higher education institution. 4. Demonstrated experience in web design, web development, and graphic design required 5. Ability to learn, manage, and lead enhancements of software applications that ACU utilizes 6. Advanced computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn proprietary software applications. Personal 1. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 2. Organizational skills, including attention to detail, discretion, and ability to meet deadlines 5.
