The Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver is an interdisciplinary professional school focused on international studies and public policy. It prepares students for careers in public, private, and non-profit sectors, offering graduate degrees and certificate programs. The School's Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) supports graduate students and alumni. This temporary, full-time position manages the implementation of an AmeriCorps-supported grant. This grant places University of Denver students in internships with Colorado-based non-profit and government institutions, enhancing their educational experience and preparing them for the workforce. The Assistant Director will oversee the program, which places AmeriCorps members in internships serving high-needs communities, allowing them to gain career-advancing skills and earn a living stipend. This role is a temporary, non-benefited position covering for a staff member on family leave, reporting to the Senior Director for the Office of Career and Professional Development. The starting date is flexible in June, with an ending date 12-15 weeks after the start date, not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
