Temporary Newscast Director
About The Position
KOMO/KUNS is looking for a Director for our Newscast. We are looking to fill these temporary positions for approximately 6 weeks and 12 weeks. Sinclair, Inc. Requirements
- Experience directing newscasts using Ross Overdrive
- Knowledge of production standards and equipment
- Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
- Typing and good spelling skills necessary
- Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
- Must be able to lift & position 40 pound lighting instruments
- Flexible Schedule (Able to work any shift including weekends and early mornings)
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively with other production team members
Responsibilities
- Perform any production duties as assigned
- Direct any assigned newscast using Ross Overdrive
- Code assist any newscast using INEWS with Ross Overdrive Plugin.
- Maintain production studio and control room
- Teleprompt any newscast
- Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.
